So many mannequins!

My name is Suzanne Mehlert, and I’m the new buyer for the Golf Shop.

I’ve been a buyer and visual merchandiser for over 30 years, but I look at every season as a new and exciting landscape of products and trends.

That’s me in the picture with over 50 mannequins, as I searched the PGA Golf Show and Fashion Market in Las Vegas this fall, looking for the new trends, new designs and latest technology, while comparing prices and quality, in order to bring home the best values I could find for our guests.

Right now, collegiate gear is ready to wear and give this Christmas.  Whether you’re a Husky or a Cougar, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve got you covered, whether you’re a Husky or a Cougar.

You’ll find new Adidas, Under Armour, Puma and PING apparel, which look as great off the course, as on.

Another great gift idea is our quality Cutter & Buck Seahawks apparel for men & women.

Dreaming of a new Titleist wedge or Odyssey putter with a Super Stroke grip?

Whatever your golf gear wishes are… there are treasures to be found at the Gold Mountain Golf Shop!

The Summer weather has finally arrived and we are in full swing here at Gold Mountain.

From the Junior Camps that are nearing their conclusion to the Couples Leagues that continue to play on Friday’s, the Northwest’s best golf facility is running on all cylinders providing premium experiences for all of our guests.

The month of August will see a significant jump in tournament play and traveling groups who have pre-booked their rounds in advance.

Make sure to schedule your tee time in advance to guarantee a spot because space is becoming more and more limited.

One time of day that is great for enjoying all this sunshine is our twilight hours. Every day at 3pm we lower our rates and allow for unlimited play at the same time!

Evening rounds are great for those looking to avoid the heat and find a golf course that is void of the mid-morning influx of golfers.

It feels like your own personal country club.

You can always get a quick round of golf in during the afternoon, whether it be at 3pm or later (it is still light out until 8:30pm) and the course will feel as if it is your own personal country club with all of the open space!

For those married golfers, Gold Mountain will be hosting the Couples Tour on Sunday, September 4th for a 1pm shotgun start.

The format is a Shamble and this new event has sparked some really intense interest. Please call the golf shop to sign up at (360) 415-5432, and experience the both the golf course and the restaurant which has some great new options as well as a brand new menu!

It is a little early yet, but we want to remind all of you competitive golfers out there that the Dave Williams Best Ball is back again this year.

September 24th and 25th is the date of the annual Best Ball Tournament that always brings in some of the best amateur golfers in the area to Gold Mountain.

We have both a gross and net division, so both you and your golfing buddy have plenty of opportunities to win some dough. Look for the signup flyer in the month of August.

As always, we truly appreciate all of you who visit us during these perfect northwest summers. You are the reason why the staff of Gold Mountain enjoys our profession the way we do!

Keep swinging those clubs. We will see you soon!

Gold Mountain Golf Club

It is officially summertime and the days are getting longer and warmer! Many people have begun to look for ways to experience all that the golf scene in the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and we here at Gold Mountain are no different. The Gold Mountain Men’s Club has been offering our members a Home and Home Tournament, giving players a chance to play new courses while still enjoying the camaraderie of their fellow golfing partners. This also gives our members the opportunity to meet new people who share the love for the game at a facility not easily accessible to all players. This year so far, the Men’s Club has been to White Horse Golf Club and Wing Point Golf and Country Club, playing both with and against fellow club members from other courses.

Now is the time to sign up for the Men’s Club if you have not done so already. We will be hosting a four team Home and Home Tournament on the Olympic Course on September 16th and October the 14th against the members of Port Ludlow Golf Club. We hope that these events will give you the prospect of meeting a new golfing buddy, potentially one with the ability to give you admission to a local golf club that would not normally be accessible to you. Stay tuned for our next update on happenings at Gold Mountain, and enjoy the incredible weather we have managed to steal from Hawaii!
